New 508 evidence?

Work is slowing down and the train has been slowly creeping back into my mind. I received pictures this summer from Patrick Rioux, showing a locomotive being dragged out of a river/lake? Patrick said they were taken above the dam in the early 1930's. I heard stories in my search saying the locomotive had been winched out of the river many years after the accident….maybe these were going to confirm this theory? They looked pretty convincing but upon closer observation I quickly noticed the wheel configuration on this locomotive was not a 4-4-0 type. The one in the picture showed 3 drive wheels and locomotive 508 only had 2. Also the hills in the background do not match the area looking either towards the west or the east…..NOT 508.
