104 years ago today we had a big train accident here at Grand Falls when the CPR bridge crossing the St-John River collapsed and fell in the water under the weight of the locomotive and freight cars. Interestingly enough nobody died in the crash but some newspapers (back then) went to print informing the reader of unfortunate fatalities.
